Examples:
11/1/13 - Car estimates that there are 219 miles remaining
11/2/13 - Drove 61.5 miles and car estimates that there are 224 miles remaining. I did drive on the highway at 60-65 miles per hour, but this is curious that now there are more miles remaining than yesterday.
11/3/13 - Drove 5 miles, and the car now estimates that there are 206 miles remaining
11/4/13 - Drove 10.8 miles, and the car is estimating 171 miles remaining
Funny story - I was looking for ground pork and ground veal for a special meatloaf recipe. I called several grocery stores, but no one had ground veal. I was planning to go to Kroger anyways to get eggs, as the eggs were too expensive at Sprouts. Sure enough, Kroger had both ground pork and ground veal. I should have just gone to Kroger in the first place. The meatloaf turned out perfectly.
